In-person meetings

VTMHCA offers monthly networking meetings for the purpose of bringing together mental health professionals to foster community, connection, and education. These informal networking events are organized by volunteers and are intended to create opportunities for counselors and other mental health professionals to meet in person, network, and talk shop.

These meetings are a great opportunity to grow your referral network, to learn about your colleague's specialties and preferred modalities, and to learn about helpful clinical resources. These meetings are intended for discussing the business side of the work, and since they are held in public spaces, it's not a place to discuss specific client case consultation matters.

The loose format for these meetings include a time for introductions, sharing any announcements, and then open conversation to discuss whatever relevant topics people would like to discuss. Plan to bring your business cards and other marketing materials for sharing.
